Circular, the centre painted with officers and soldiers of the 15th Tverskoi and 16th Nizhegorodkii Dragoon Regiments, within a lilac border decorated with the Imperial double-headed eagle and gilt laurel and oak leaf wreath, inscribed in Russian under base 'After the pain[ting] by Piratskii', signed in Cyrillic and dated 'N. Kholshevnikov./75', marked under base with green underglaze factory mark
