A WHITE JADE 'BOY AND RUYI' PENDANT
QING DYNASTY, 18TH-19TH CENTURY
The pendant is carved with a kneeling boy holding a ruyi in one hand, a spray of lotus in the other hand hanging across his back. There is a bird perched on a box at the foot of the boy. The stone is of an even white tone with a soft polish.
