In 1988, art and antique dealer Fred Schrader attended the Napa Valley Wine Auction as the guest of Christie’s auctioneer Brian Cole. From then on, Schrader was determined to produce as fine a Cabernet as possible. With two different Beckstoffer vineyards, Schrader Cellars maintains a vineyard-oriented production method with as little intervention from winemakers as possible.
