拍品專文

Moulded round glass appliqués were commonly attached to the body and handles of glass vessels as ornaments. In particular the two green glass attachments moulded as a winged mask of Medusa appear to have been a favourite motif, cf. D. B. Harden, Glass of the Caesars, 1987, p. 119, no. 51.
