De forme balustre agrémentée d'une anse, la panse est décorée d'une scène continue illustrant la poursuite de Han Xin par Xiao He sous la lune dans un paysage rocailleux. Le col et le pied sont ornés de rinceaux floraux stylisés.

Lot Essay

The scene illustrated here is the pursuit of Han Xin by Han emperor-to-be Liu Bang's minister Xiao He at night. It is a motif commonly seen on transitional period porcelain. Compare to a vase sold at Christie's, Hong Kong, 27 November 2013, lot 3415.
