Lot Essay

The bracelet that accompanies the present watch adds a highly-desirable element to the present lot. It is a rare feature to have with such an iconic and highly recognizable model and furthermore it is offered in excellent overall condition.

The movement is A. Lange & Söhne's hand-wound caliber L901.0, the three-quarter plate made of untreated German silver and decorated with Glashütte ribbing. The twin mainspring barrels provide a power reserve of three days when fully wound. It furthermore features a stop second mechanism activated when the crown is pulled out and a patented twin-disc mechanism for the display of the oversized date.
