Two Paris porcelain Napoleonic portrait coffee cans and two saucers
comprising: a cup painted with a quarter-length profile of the Emperor, facing left, his features formed from nudes, his cocked hat from an eagle, his uniform painted with a map of the area near Leipzig, against a spider and web, within a gilt panel, inscribed Triumph des Fahres 1813, on a band of gilt leaves, the matched saucer gilt with leaves, early 19th century (wear to gilt, saucer chipped and restored); the other cup painted en grisaille with a profile bust, facing right on a richly gilt roundel, inscribed BONAPATRE.I.EM, on a plain ground gilt with flowerheads and pendant leaves, the interior richly gilt, the matched saucer gilt with a band of leaves, early 19th century (slight wear)
