AN AMBER-OVERLAY CLEAR GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
1780-1850
The bottle is carved through the transparent amber overlay to the bubble-suffused ground on either side with a paddling duck in rolling waves, below a sun and ribbon-like clouds.
2 ¾ in (7 cm.) high, jadeite stopper
