The Swiss watchmaker DeWitt belongs to the few who can produce their own movements and the very few who have dial-makers in house. It is precisely this uniqueness that the brand is proud to offer to the new owner of one of its timepieces. They will have the privilege to imagine the dial of their own watch, which will be hand-crafted in the Geneva based Manufacture. The watch houses a self-winding DeWitt movement. Its steel case is the case of the watchmaker’s iconic Academia model featuring the famous DeWitt imperial column motif.
The DeWitt Manufacture was founded in 2003 by Count Jérôme de Witt in order to create handcrafted exceptional and innovative Master Complications. Housing all traditional watchmaking activities, from the conception of horological innovations by engineers and designers to the production of every hand-finished component of the movement by master watchmakers, it also integrates the extremely complex know-how for manufacturing dials in-house, relaying on a team of specialists such as enamellers, electrotypers, setters and others.
