A Meissen oviform wet drug jar
and flattened cover, painted with loose sprays of flowers among scattered sprigs within gilt, puce and iron-red bands of scrolls, the handle and spout with similar decoration reserved with satyr masks, the finial formed as a strawberry, with hinged metal mounts to the cover and spout and a footrim, blue crossed swords mark, Pressnummer 9 -- 33cm. high, circa 1820
