A VERY RARE DING PERSIMMON-GLAZED HEXAFOIL BOWL
NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY (AD 960-1127)
The bowl has widely flared sides that rise from the small knife-cut foot to the hexafoil rim, and is covered allover with a glaze of rich, slightly metallic reddish-brown color that thins on the rim and also covers the base.
