Alessandro Mazzucotelli was one of the key exponents of Art Nouveau, otherwise known as Liberty, in Italy. He is particularly regarded for his metalwork and came to the fore after exhibiting at the landmark Prima Esposizionale Internazionale D'Arte Decorativa Moderna exhibition in Turin, in 1902.
