Recorked by OP in 2015. Three part moulded stencilled bottles. New wax seals. Levels: into-neck
Tasting note: Sweet nose, very nice, soft and attractive. Spicy oak cask style, honeyed. Rounded buttery taste, unctuous fudge tones. Great intensity of concentration. Sweet grapefruit on the finish. Quite a rich Terrantez with silky rich mouth feel, in the style of the 1808 Blandy Luscious Malmsey but not as multi layered. Packed in acidity. Not as complex as other 1808’s still a very good wine. Last tasted August 2016. EV
