GUANGXU SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN IRON-RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
Each dish is decorated to the interior with a pair of iron-red sinuous dragons contesting a flaming pearl, highlighted in gilt, surrounded by scrolling clouds and scattered flames. The exteriors are similarly decorated with two further striding dragons, each chasing a flaming pearl.
19 7/8 in. (50.5 cm.) diam.
