the arched hood with plain cylindrical pilasters to the angles, below giltwood spherical finials, the painted Arabic dial with subsidiary seconds ring and dated aperture, signed John Hallett, Lyme, within fan paterae spandrels, the arch with a floral urn, the four pillar movement with converted anchor escapement, the plain trunk and plinth with crossbanded veneers, on a later bracket foot, with two cast-iron weights and a pendulum -- 82½in.
