A handsome copy of the first edition. M’Keevor’s account provides detailed descriptions of icebergs and the Inuit people he encountered as a ship’s doctor on the Selkirk expedition of 1812. Contains a short additional account of the French naval officer Christophe-Paulin de La Poix Fréminville’s Voyage to the North Pole.
