Two volumes, octavo (195 x 121mm). 2pp. publisher's advertisements at back of vol. 1 with date "June 12, 1852." 5 lithographic plates, all but 1 color and 2 folding colored lithographic maps (repaired stub tear to map in vol. 1). Original blue cloth, spines gilt-lettered (mild darkening to edges and spines). Provenance: Winslow Lewis (ownership signatures); High Latitude, Bainbridge Island.
