The first edition, in original boards with the rare preliminary report. Wohlgemuth was the leader of the Austrian research station at Jan Mayen, established as part of the First International Polar Year. These volumes comprise the scientific findings of the team, which have never been translated out of the original German. Jan Mayen, a small volcanic island in the Arctic Ocean, now belongs to Norway and has only a seasonal population. Arctic Bib. 7758.
