The first edition of this rare almanac, which comprises the first appearance of five poems by Pushkin: 'Madrigal', 'Dvizhenie', 'Sovet', 'Solovei i kukushka', and 'Druzhba'. Octavo (130 x 100mm). Additional engraved title (small early repair in the margin of the engraving; occasional light marginal spotting. 19th-century Russian red morocco, the spine gilt in compartments, edges sprinkled blue; endpapers marbled brown and orange (corners rubbed; small dampstain on the front board). Provenance: Russian bookseller (small stamps on the rear endpaper).
