The first edition, with the Pushkin poem 'NN, pri posyle ei Nevskogo al’manakha'. Smirnov-Sokol’skii, Pushkin 69.
Octavo (132 x 95mm). Engraved additional title, engraved frontispiece and 2 plates (lacking the double page of engraved music; some staining on the engraved title; occasional light marginal soiling or light spotting). 19th-century Russian calf, the sides paneled in gilt and blind, the spine lettered directly in gilt, pink coated endpapers (extremities rubbed, sides lightly scuffed). Provenance: indistinct Cyrillic ownership on the front pastedown – Evgenii V. Mikhailovich (penciled presentation inscription dated 1958).
