ANGELUS
Château Angelus produces a soft, velvety, full-bodied Bordeaux wine that has made them so well respected. Angelus was fairly underrated until the 1980s when Hubert de Bouard came in and improved all facets of the vineyard. Today it remains one of the finest and largest Grand Crus of St. Emilion. Of the 39 hectares of the vineyard, 27 of those hectares have First Growth status. The vineyard is afforded with a southerly-exposed slope. With such concentrated flavors, bottles should be aged at least 5 years.
