PALMER 1869
Château Palmer is considered the finest estate in the Margaux appelation second to Château Margaux. Classified as a 3eme Cru Classe, it is considered one of the 'Super Seconds' of Bordeaux. The Château is named after British officer, Major General Palmer, who moved to Bordeaux in 1814. Palmer's Merlot content is higher than others of the appellation, so it resembles many of the top wines of Medoc like Pomerol and St-Emilion.
