An English creamware bowl of Wheildon type
circular with a flared rim, applied with a band of fruit, flower and leaves, enriched in brown tortoishell glaze and gilt -- 14cm. diam. (firing crack to rim, wear to gilt); and a cup with scroll handle, sprigged with a band of scrolling leaves suspending pendant sprays of flowers, enriched in brown, green, blue and ochre glazes -- 7.5cm. high (crack to rim, some staining and firing faults), both circa 1760-70
