A Wedgwood caneware cream-jug and cover
engine-turned with a reeded pattern reserved with horizontal ribs, the handle formed from three bamboo branches, the domed cover with similar decoration, the finial formed as a recumbent lion, the interior of the jug glazed, impressed mark -- 11.5cm. high, circa 1790 (some firing cracks to finial, handle and spout)
