A Bow porcelain cylindrical mug
with a spreading foot and groove handle, painted in a bright oriental palette with flowering chrysanthemum and peony branches around pierced rockwork, below a diaper pattern band reserved with panels of flowers, the handle painted with a leaf -- 14.5cm. high, circa 1752-4 (firing cracks, damages, wear and repairs); and a Bow plate painted in bright colours with sprays of stylised flowers within a black-line rim -- 23.4cm. diam., circa 1756 (minor damages and wear)
