A Liverpool (Pennington's) blue and white sauceboat
moulded with panels of scrolls issuing foliage, painted with oriental flowers above terracing on a herringbone-moulded oval foot -- 18cm. long, circa 1780 (small chip to rim, firing faults); a Pennington fluted cream-jug, the lower section moulded with a band of leaves, printed with a figure among trees and foliage, the reverse with a fisherman -- 8.5cm. high, circa 1785 (firing faults); and a Vauxhall leaf-shaped pickle dish, Nicholas Crisp's factory (broken and re-stuck, chips to rim)
