A pair of Chelsea candlestick figures of a shepherd and shepherdess
each modelled standing before flowering bocage, the young man wearing green hat, flowered puce jacket and yellow breeches, standing holding a pipe, and attended by recumbent hound, his companion with blue hat, pink bodice and flowered skirt, the apron filled with flowers, attended by a lamb, with pierced nozzles and drip-pans, surmounted on scrolling footed bases, gold anchor marks -- 28cm. high, circa 1765 (possibly matched, restoration and repairs to scones, some other restoration, minor damage and flaking)
