A pair of Chelsea/Derby figures of the Singing Shepherds
the shepherd wearing a flowing cape, flowered jacket and turquoise breeches, the shepherdess wearing a cape, turquoise bodice and skirt painted with puce sprigs, both standing before rocky mound on shaped flattened bases applied with flowers, gilt marks to reverse -- 23cm. and 22.5cm. high, circa 1770 (some minor chips and restoration to song sheets and fingers, some other minor chips and wear)
