Lot Essay

This charming figural group, its compexity and delicacy difficult to achieve in clay, was first modeled in 1743 at the Meissen factory by the master J.J. Kandler (1706-1775) as a Harlequin and girl dancing a Polish mazurka, a popular dance at the time.
