This needlework may have been wrought by Hannah Louisa Hancock (1830-1907), the daughter of Thomas A. Hancock (1801-1855) and Prudence (Richardson) Hancock (1880-1834). She married George B. Estilow (1829-1872) and the couple resided in Springfield, Burlington County, New Jersey. She later married Alfred Shinn (1843-1926) in Mount Holly and in the 1900 census, was residing in Eagleswood, New Jersey.
