MARK OF TIFFANY & CO., NEW YORK, CIRCA 1884
with spot-hammered surface, the domed circular base raised on four short bracket feet, applied and etched with Japanese gold peapods, a beetle, and with copper and Japanese gold spider, etched with swirling scroll monogram ADB, and date 1884, the attenuated stem with additional peapods and insect-eaten leaves applied with copper, all surmounted by a shallow shaped square dish applied with copper insects, marked on underside and numbered 6090-6617
