Arabic manuscript on paper, the first line in elegant black tawqi' above a panel of three lines of black naskh, each line in cloudband, two signature panels below with names of Muhsin Zadeh's masters, the panel within fine gold and polychrome floral illumination, the green card borders with two colour-gold floral illumination

This is the diploma of a certain al-Sayyid Hafiz ‘Umar Fakhr al-Din (Ömer Fahreddin) Efendi and is signed by Sayyid ‘Umar Fa‘iq (Ömer Faik) and ‘Abdullah Muhsinzade (d. AH 1312/1894-95 AD), the grandson of the Sadrazam Mehmet Pasha.
