A William IV four-piece tea and coffee service,
of compressed moulded circular form and on foliate feet, each decorated with a broad frieze of scrolling foliage and with a moulded shaped everted rim, the scroll handles decorated with flower heads and varying foliage, the coffee pot and teapot with chased leaf-capped rising curved spouts and domed hinged covers with fruit and foliate finials, Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater, London 1836 - height of coffee pot 10in. (25.25cm.), 80.75oz.
