We are particularly fortunate to be able to acquire a great many pieces of furniture and other decorative objects from Mrs. Beatrix Farrand when she decided to tear down her Bar Harbor home and dispose of the furnishings in it. This side chair, with the Prince of Wales design... reminds us of a very remarkable lady who contributed much to our lives at an important period right after World War II.
