A Victorian presentation goblet
on a rising circular base chased with a frieze of acorns and oak leaves and with a knopped stem, the gilt-lined campana-shaped bowl chased and applied in relief with three soldiers, two holding guns, the other side with a foliate cartouche with regimental presentation inscription, military trophies beneath, Robert Garrard, London 1862, the foot engraved with a retailer's name and address: "R.& S. Garrard, Panton St., London" - 8¾in. (22.25cm.), 12.75oz.
