Lot Essay

An identical pair of wall-lights was sold in Segoura, Christie’s, New York, 19 October 2006, lot 202 ($26,400). A related pair of wall-lights from the Bobinsky collection now in the State Hermitage, St. Petersburg is illustrated in I. Sychev, Russian Bronze, Moscow, 2003, p. 82.
