VAN CLEEF & ARPELS
The Retro period sees the birth of iconic collections of jewellery, such as ‘Ludo’, ‘Pelouse’ and ‘Hawaii’ for Van Cleef & Arpels. When the ‘Pelouse’ and the ‘Hawaii’ designs are used on the same jewel, they become the ‘Bagatelle’ collection, illustrated by lots 167 and 168.
