Lot Essay

The reference 7169, or so called “Monte Carlo”, is the last manually wound chronograph by Tudor before the transition to the Valjoux 7750-based watches. From a collectible point of view, manually wound chronographs are more desirable than the automatic ones and adding the fact that the reference 7169 is the first Tudor chronograph with a rotating bezel is making this reference very interesting and collectible.

A similar watch is illustrated in: Tudor Anthology, Alberto Isnardi, 2013, p. 155.
