two double sheets, unmarked, with hand-coloured illustrations, one of a lady sitting on a bench in a garden, with ship in the background and message Oh! had I bags of massy gold,/Those bags would I resign;/As mine my charmer to behold,/And be his Valentine; another similar, with illustration of a couple arm in arm and verse Ah! smile in love my dear on me,/Whose fond regard is fixed on thee;/And all my fears remove - both approx 8 X 9in. 20 X 23cm., circa 1835; and a lithograph of a girl walking on her own, with lake in background, with verse Departing Winter leaves at its decline/The day still sacred to St Valentine/Prompted by friendship and sincerest love,/Your Maiden hails this votive day to prove/That her attachment still remains the same, And hopes this pledge will help you to her name - 7 X 8½in. 18 X 22cm., circa 1830 (3)
