A WHITE JADE 'BUDDHIST LION' BELT BUCKLE
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The oval buckle is carved in relief with a pair of Buddhist lions playing with a brocade ball. Their fur, tails and eyes are finely incised. The stone is of a very pale celadon tone.
