Comte Georges de Vogüé, Bonnes-Mares 1991
Grand Cru, Côte de Nuits
Tasting note: January 2018 at the Domaine. Nicely developed nose of beetroot and leather.
On the taste a strong intense start with good structure, well balanced with very good intensity and a good byte. After a couple of minutes the taste developed further showing more spicy tones and a creamy richness with a touch of vanilla. No hard tannins at all. Lovely sweetness of fine red fruits on the finish. This is very good. Bravo to all the hard work in this challenging vintage. E.V.
