Tasting note: May 2017. More concentrated on the nose then the 2006, voluptuous even. Spices, sweet ripe berry fruit followed by intense ripe strawberries. Though this wine is very concentrated it’s also elegantly styled. Great nose.
On the taste this is very well balanced with gorgeous fruit flowing out gracefully. A pure and well defined wine with silky tannins and great length.
The same bottle a day after was still showing well though the aroma’s were a bit more subdued. Great balance and structure. E.V.
