Since its first edition in 2002, Richard Mille has been the main sponsor of Le Mans Classic race. The present RM030 is the fourth edition which was first launched when the 7th Le Mans Classic took place. This special edition in white ATZ ceramic case is limited to 100 pieces.

RM030 carries an automatic movement RMAR1 with a "decluctchable rotor" which took Richard Mille 4 years to research and develop. The rotor is disengaged automatically when the power reserve reaches 50 hours and clutched again when it reaches 40 hours to avoid overwinding and it is displayed by the rewinding indicator located below 12 o'clock.
