A JADE 'CHILONG' PLECTRUM-SHAPED PENDANT
SONG DYNASTY (960-1279) OR LATER
The jade is vividly carved in openwork with two interlocking sinuous chilong all surrounding the ‘archer’s thumb ring’-shaped ornament with further incised details. The stone is of a white tone with highlights ranging from a dark brown colour to russet tone.
