A CARVED JADEITE 'DRAGON' BELT HOOK
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The stone is finely carved with a characteristic curved shaft terminating in a dragon-head hook, opposite a sinuous chilong in openwork. The reverse side is carved with a tab for attachment. The stone varies from brilliant emerald green to mottled green tones.
