CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, MARQUES A SIX CARACTERES EN CACHET EN BLEU SOUS COUVERTE ET EPOQUE DAOGUANG (1821-1850)
Reposant sur un petit pied droit, la panse est à décor continu de deux phénix et deux dragons pourchassant la perle sacrée sur un fond de branchages fleuris. La bordure extérieure est ornée de bajixiang alternant avec des volutes de ruyi. L'intérieur est agrémenté d'un dragon émaillé rouge de fer et vert dans un double cercle.

Lot Essay

A pair of bowls of this design was included in the exhibition, The Wonder's of the Potter's Palette, Qing Ceramics from the Collection of the Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong, 1984, no. 100; and a single example from the Simon Kwan Collection was included in the exhibition, Imperial Porcelain of Late Qing, Chinese University of Hong Kong, 1983, no. 44. A set of four Daoguang-marked bowls of this same design was sold in Christie's New York, 24-25 March 2011, lot 1727.
