Franz Freiherr (from 1840, Count) von Dubský of Třebomislyc (1784-1873), father of the famous Moravian writer Marie Freifrau Ebner-Eschenbach (1830-1916), married firstly Konradine, Freiin von Sorgenthal (1804-1826) and secondly, in 1828, Marie Freiin von Vockel, mother of the future writer.
A copy after this miniature by Daffinger’s pupil Betty Fröhlich, signed and dated 1825, was sold Christie’s, Geneva, 14 November 1989, lot 251.
