NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY (960-1127)
The vase is carved with a broad band of leafy peony scroll bearing two large blossoms, between decorative bands on the shoulder and around the foot, all reserved in blackish-brown slip on a white slip ground and covered with a clear glaze.
