A RARE INSCRIBED CIZHOU CUT-GLAZE MEIPING
JIN DYNASTY (1115-1234)
The tapering ovoid body is carved through the brown glaze to the buff ground with a twenty-character poetic inscription describing an experience that occurred while drinking, and with an additional poem on the reverse, all between double-line borders.
