A CARVED SMOKY CRYSTAL FACETED SNUFF BOTTLE
1760-1860
The transparent stone is of smoky-brown color with a semi-translucent greyish-white skin carved with a willow tree in the foreground and a figure in a boat approaching a pavilion amidst bamboo on the narrow adjacent facet, one cane of bamboo extends around the side, and the opposite narrow facet is carved with a four-character inscription, ren zui chun feng ('leisure in the spring'), followed by an oval seal.
